Titan steps up to me.
βDonβt β¦β
βLook who found her voice,β he muses.
βShut up, Titan.β I snap, pulling my cell out of my pocket and dial Jasmineβs number. It rings once, twice. Three times. I pull it from my ear, and he snatches it from my hand. βHey β¦β
His smile just widens. βSo you do remember me.β
Like I could forget. βGive me my phone back.β I order reaching out for it.
He places it in the front pocket of his jeans. βDrop to your knees.β
βExcuse me?β I blink.
His dark blue eyes look me up and down, and the corners of his lips turn up like he knows a secret. And he does. Several of them about me. βDrop to your knees and Iβll give it back to you.β
My blood boils at his words. βFuck you!β
He steps into me, pressing my back into my door, and I gasp in surprise. I thought he was big, but his hard chest presses into mine, and I have to tilt my head back to look him in the eyes. Even with my heels on, this man towers over me. I always liked that about him. Heβs the tallest of all the Kings.
The scent of his cologne hits my nose, and I hate how much I like it. It brings back old memories that I want to drown in, but I make myself stay here in the present. The light pole I parked under casts a shadow over his chiseled face, making it glow like a ghost from my past.
βWe came close that one time.β His eyes go to my chest, and I know he can feel my heart pound against his. He reaches up and runs his knuckles over my neck. His skull ring burns the skin, making me shiver. βSo fucking close. It was the only time I could actually tolerate you.β
βTitan.β I swallow, trying to calm my nerves.
βYeah, Em?β he asks as his eyes roam my face.
A fucking whimper comes out when he calls me by my old nickname. Then my breath quickens when he places his hands on my face, caging me in.

This book is HOT AF!!! Shantel always writes some of the hottest scenes and this book is no different. I love all of her books, but this one might be my favorite so far. Gosh….where do I start with this one?
This book is dark, dirty, sinfully addicting and mind blowing amazing. I loved everything about this book!!! After reading Code Of Silence and seeing that there would be more of the Kings story coming…I knew that I was all in. I needed more of the King’s and more of their stories. Titan and Emilee’s story is an addicting story that kept me on the edge of my seat with the twist and turns. The back and forth between these two kept me turning those pages. The chemistry between these two is so freaking hot that it has the potential of melting some kindles. Can’t wait to get my hands on the next book as that it’s hinted at seeing more of them in Graves story. OHHHH…..I can’t wait for Graves story. I honestly can’t recommend this book enough along with any of Shantel’s other books!!!
