Ana Balen was born in Zagreb, Croatia, where she still lives with her husband, their son (read boss!) and the son’s pet rabbit named Shhh! (or some other gibberish that’s the favorite of their son for the day.)

She spends her days driving her husband up the wall (when he can’t get her ass up from the bed in the mornings), reading and daydreaming, or following orders from a three-year-old. In the hectic life she leads (and loves every second of it), she never thought about writing. But, then one day a name popped in her head, then, the snippets of things, and she sat down and started typing. Next thing, she wrote a book. And now, she’s about to release her seventh!

Oh wow!!! This new author took me on a journey that I absolutely loved. Jack’s story was a turbulent story that took me through his ups and his downs, but made me love him so much more at the end. I loved him from the very beginning, but that ending really made me flove him!! For a new author Paula did an amazing job drawing me into Jack’s story from the very beginning. I loved everything about her writing. I usually don’t care for the back in forth in a story, but his story had to be told that way and I didn’t mind the back in forth with the past and present. I honestly can’t wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend that you give this new author a chance and to keep an eye out for more of her books to come.
