Wow! The twist in this book threw me for a loop. I loved the whole love triangle and the twist in the first book, but this one went above my comfort level. I got so frustrated with Ryan, Liv, and Brighton half way through this one and just grew to not like them at all. I so wanted to love this one as much as the first, but I just couldn’t. I liked the story, but some of it just wasn’t my cup a tea, but just because it wasn’t for me doesn’t mean it’s not for others. I absolutely love when an author goes out of the normal and puts never before twist into the plot. C.M. Albert does just that and for that I love her for it. I’m going to be on the lookout for more of her books because she pushes the readers limits and I’m always looking for something new in the book world.
